Leta Anderson, 59, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Fort Worth, TX. Leta was born on May 18, 1953 in Slaton, TX, and spent much of her childhood in Lubbock, TX, before moving to Fort Worth, between Junior High and High School. In June of 1971, Leta was married to her husband of 42 years, Jim Anderson. She went on to have two sons, Chad and Brian, and a daughter, Shannon, and they lived as a family in North Richland Hills. Leta was a loving wife, Mama, Memaw and friend. She never knew a stranger and although she was only Mama to a few, she was a mother to many. She loved her family fiercely, and expressed that love daily. She was known for her quick wit, and one of a kind sense of humor. Her laugh, as well as her “Letaisms” will be remembered by all who knew her. She solved many of the world’s problems curled up in her recliner, with people gathered around. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 3 pm at Let’s Start Talking, formerly Mid Cities Church located at 7650 Precinct Line Road in Hurst, TX 76054. Because this is a celebration of life, we ask that all in attendance come casual and colorful, as Leta lived.
